Did that beast towards the end of a 105km MTB epic this Summer, legs were screaming by the end and then had to go on and winch ourselves up Mam Tor - got about a years worth or use out of the granny ring that day!

I am so jealous when i watch that video. I live in the Netherlands and the nearest hill to my house is about 12Kms away and takes about 20 seconds to climb. Apart from that then i have to travel 150Kms plus to find anything worth climbing, and even that doesnt come close to climbing winnatts pass. Ademort

Did Winnats Pass on the Polkadot Challenge in 2007...its very steep...and brought a good few to there feet....not only that theres a real headwind (which Im told is fairly constant)...it really is a tester...but such an awe inspiring place going through that lush green gorge...yip, you'll be happy to get to the top no doubt!

P.s I'm sure the guy on the video is 'Le Patron' from this very forum...I met them out at the Ventoux and the lassie won an event out there...those 2 are very good and when on the PDC I never saw much go up quite aswell as those 2....
