have you bought yourself anything? I can't stop buying things for MEEEEEEEE at the moment.

Today it was a coat (I can't go to My husband's christmas do in a scabby, snot covered, school run, brown coat) and handbag (can't go to christmas do with a big brown snot covered bag) and new undies (not usually brown and snot covered but just fancied a treat)

Oh dear!

what have you treated yourself to?

    Happy Christmas me :P

Yep, the bike and everything to go with it. Early xmas present of course.....

  • New frame/forks for the roadie, a fixie (complete) new bars for the roadie umm new Castelli windproof jersey. I'm sure I'm missing the point about this Christmas malarky I am still to do ANY shopping for anyone else :?
  • I am trying so hard to resist buying a Lampre or Liquigas team jersey. They are both on offer at Prendas, but I shouldn't be spending my dosh on stuff I don't need..

Damn. Being skint sucks to hell.

I've finished christmas shopping so the next day out with the credit card will be for me :)

I'm impressed with how i've restrained myself the last few weeks. I even ignored a £5 gift voucher from Wiggle. I think such discipline deserves a treat!
  • Popette you came to the Team C+ photo shoot in your snotty scabbie undies becasue as we all know, when you were drunk, they were flung around the dinner table much to the discontent of the elderly couple on the next table.

And furthermore...you may not remember this becasue you were so drunk, the removal of the so said snotty apparel was after the scabby and worn out and rubbed lycra came off.

Please behave yourself in future, the editor nearly passed out, and the camera man couldnt get to the truck in time to photograph the evidence....but i did on my mobile..hehehe.

Oh yes i have bought myself a new didgital 10 million trillion super douper pixel thingy camera.

Hmm, not sure whether this counts but have received Christmas money from parents, grand parents etc. totalling 'XXX.XX'. However, the money I've actually spent so that on a given day I can say "Thanks very much... I got such and such with your money" etc. vastly exceeds the funds received.

I've been doing this for a few years now and since I left uni and started working I'm subsiding the gift year on year to a greater extent (this whole Christmas malarky is expensive).

I'm toying with and assessing the idea of trying "Cheers Nan, I bought a BMC Road Racer SL01 frameset with your money".
  • Assos white fugujack.

Saw one for £264 at Parker's website and thought with the fall of the £ on the currency markets they won't be that price for much longer.

Have you painted it yet? I've got a 531 steel tourer that i want to do up ,but i'm not too confident about painting it myself, think i'll probs get it done professionally. Be interested to know if you managed a decent job.

i bought a new compact camera as the other one I have is too big to slip in an inside pocket for social 'do's - I bought a panasonic Lumix FX37 - 10 megapixel thingy - quite nice

course I told the wife I bought it "for us" - so it counts as her xmas present too!

  • I just bought my self a top from minx girl - it will match my new bike (is that bed?)
  • New Assos 851 Airjack jacket and airProtec tights for me, oh yes.

Ditto with an Airjack...it was on offer damned it!!!
  • Assos Winter.LL bibtights, which I paid Winstanleys for in NOVEMBER but they're STILL waiting for stock (5 to 7 days my a*se). Can't help thinking our continental cousins are already zipping around nice and cosy in their new Assos gear, and that Blighty will be the last place to get them as usual.

My funky Gewiss Ballan top and Colnago cap arrived today from Prendas (for if the sun ever comes back).

And... >clickety< ...oops I just bought a new CatEye computer/HRM so I can see how slow I'm going/how bad my man-flu is.

Plus the obligatory bar tape. Thank you santa!

I bought that a few weeks ago, for my dad for christmas. At Revolution, he went and bought it himself and got it signed. So I've kept it for myself, though I'm not at all jealous he's got a signed copy and I haven't
