the last 2-2 and a half months ive barely been out on my bike. before i stopped goin out on it i was @ my peak, (im 14 by the way), i got loads of training in in the summer, but when i get home from school its dark and very very very cold and i dnt wanna go out and then in the weekend i cant motivate myself 2 go out. Any tips?

I had the same problem, so I bought a Turbo. You have to be inventive with the sessions though in order to prevent boredom setting in REALLY quickly.0

You also have to be pretty motivated to use those things. there are a few threads detailing turbo boredom. As motivation is his problem then a turbo wouldn't be a good idea and would just sit gathering dust. It may work if the dark/weather is the problem but I think that is more of an excuse to justify his lazyness17 Stone down to 12.5 now raring to get back on the bike!0 -

If you can't motivate yourself to go out at the weekend you'll never get motivated to ride a turbo.
Find yourself a riding buddie or a club. When you know someones waiting for you you'll make yourself go and you might even enjoy it. If you don't, pack it and play an X-box, it's what someone of your age should be doing0
