Phips - have you got the route map to upload? I would be interested in seeing the off piste roads.

Glad you had a good time. Funkin - hopefuly first of many for you. Everyone else - I hope to catch up with you soon. I still feel all over the place even after sleep this afternoon, though I did manage to get out on the bike. I just did a couple of hill intervals and short sprints locally as I didnt have time for anything else. I did manage to sort out my riding position, as I had been uncomfortable on the bike, and now I am much more happy with it.

Yes, glad to hear you all had a good one! 8)

I'm quite excited as I have the Cervelo back in Worthing with me now so tomorrow, Tues & Wed is going to be spent re-exploring the country lanes of Sussex! :P

I'm also excited as I seem to have been running my tyres at about 60psi so now that they're back up to full pressure the bike should FLY! :D

 It must've been like riding through treacle!
Thing is it's been like that for the last 8 or 10 rides cos I've not had a pressure gauge to tell me otherwise! Unintentional resistance training!:lol:

I'm gonna be on fire tomorrow - my average speed better be good!

    What's a pressure guage?

Shoddy London roads between my house and Richmond Park coupled with already one fork failure predicates my tyres are never pumped to full pressure. What they are actually pumped up to is anyones guess.

The route was mentioned in an earlier post James, sorry, I went a bit posting mad. Here it is again though...

The climb out of Dorking to Ranmore common, then dropping back down to Box Hill via Westhumble was good. Looks a bit out of the way, rather than just doing the A road, but it's worth it to a) miss the traffic and b) do the climb :) Had some killer ramps on it.

We also goofed near the start of the ride out of Cobham, and ended up finding a quite nice climb around there. I'll have to study the route to fathom out whereabouts that was though.

Blimey, with Al navigating I'm surprised you all made it back to London in the light. :P

Noticed you went through Leith Hill - good stuff.

Al, were the climbs worse than the nasty climb at Anstie Lane we did that day when we missed the turn off near Coldharbour?

Just checked out your route. If you want a safer and more pleasant route back from Epsom, avoiding the dual carriageway A road, turn left at the Epsom one way system towards Horton Park/Ewell/Chessington. You end up back in Surbiton, this is the route generally taken on Kingston Wheeler club runs.
