Mate you are deluded please refer me to when i said i knew it all? You have no idea what anyone on this forum is like your making assuptions, which is exactly what your accusing everyone else of. Climb down of you high horse and let people have there say without your repetitive crap.

You're absolutely right. As always. I will cave to the wishes of the majority and stop posting on this subject. Now, I have to qualify that. If I read something that is just to far
out in left field to ignore, I may have to slip a snide remark or two in there. You boys have fun now. I wouldn't want to keep boring you with "repetitive crap" and anyway, you guys
seem to have a lock on "repetitive crap". I'm just an amatuer. So long.

In his reactionto the Giro, he says

"The second week is highlighted by the long time trial of 62km. As a professional I've never done such a long time trial. So, this will be a crucial day in the Giro."

I thought, nonsense, surely a previous winner of the GP Des Nations has done a longer TT. And of course, he has.

And I'm sure there have been others.

I'm no Lance fan - but this is hardly revisionism. More like forgetful ? My memory is worse than his - but it doesnt make me a bad man does it ?

Amen. I mean how many TTs has he ridden in his time? You expect him to remember exact numbers of every one? Jeez.

And someone will be along shortly to say "but he weighs his pasta, why would he forget the distance of a TT?"

The reason I picked the GP Des Nations is it was known for it's length and how many TT's do you take part in ourside of stage races?

Not many so it should stick out as he won it. It's also not like he won a huge volume of races either.
Fckin' Quintana … that creep can roll, man.

The TT where Big Mig flattened him inside of about 15 minutes should be burned into his mind. And it was a long one.

I think he has decided not to remember it as people will remember that he used to get his ass handed to him in TTs before he got on Ferrari's programme.
It's a little like wrestling a gorilla. You don't quit when you're tired. You quit when the gorilla is tired.
