    Well I love my Prince!:

If money was not a consideration then I'd still have my Prince but add Super Record and Lightweights. Just ordered some of these for it though:

I know the design isn't too everyone's taste, but I love it and the bike is an absoloute dream to ride.

Cervelo S3, custom painted by those people at hot tubes (probably in some horrible day glo colours)

Edge rims, Campag or tune Hubs

    Campag Super record

    Cinelli finishing kit

    Spesh Saddle.

    Dugast Tubs

Was just given a Spec Roubaix with Dura Ace and carbon stuff to finish it with damn light wheels. The joys of a sponsor...
  • Well I have a Time VXRS with Record and Eurus wheels and I love it but with no limits on $$$ I would have the same frame with Super Record and Lightweights. (P.S - buying a decent bike here in Aus you almost need the no limit $$$)
    There's no time for hesitating.

Surely if money is no object you'd go for something a bit more exotic than a Specialized? Where's your imagination?!

    Anyway, I've been saving for some time to buy something special for my fortieth next year and I have one of these on order;

    giuda.jpg

It'll have Campag Record 11 speed and the wheels will have Lew Racing VT-1 rims laced to Tune hubs.

Need to win the lottery first...

    RBIT

Excellent choice. I love the Liquigas colours. The Wilier - Lampre team replica is also very nice.

The frame is made by a small Italian company called Paduano Racing. They make road and mountain bike frames.

The model I've gone for is the Guida which is a full titanium frame. I was in Rome with work a month ago so took a day off, hired a car and drove to their premises about an hour north of Rome. Francesco Paduano, the company founder, speaks perfect English and we spent an hour and a half talking through the design choices he's made and the options I had. The frame, which is number 801 he'll have ever built, should be ready in the middle of January.

I discovered them when I was looking at pictures from the Eurobike show. I wanted a titanium frame and was going to buy a Nevi but when I saw pictures of the Guida I just had to have one.

    No Brainer surely!

i can't believe people would buy a Storck compared to a custom Viner/Parlee/Serotta/Colnago but it's their money. Everytime I come across someone with one, it always seems to have a reverse gear fitted

What's wrong with the storck? :?

I'd get two copies of my existing Setavento Ti frame made

One would build up with a hub gear of some sort and be for dirty weather riding

The other would be built up with lightweight stuff and would be for summer outings

I'd keep my existing bike but fit it with two Edelux lights
