Not sure if everyone will have seen this. I know Gats was in this part of the forum alot so thought I'd point it out.

I often hope that stuff I read on the internet is not for real no more so than now... but if it is then R.I.P Gats, and condolences to family. I take some consolation in teh idea he was doing what he loved when 'it' happened.....

Thanks for the heads up Heavymental - have just left a post on that thread.
I'll really miss Gats' updates on his huge mileage tally which always put mine to shame. A very sad day.

Makes me very sad when I hear things like this, it's sad when someone goes but also the thought that it could happen to any of us on the roads.
But one positive thing, he died doing something he loved, commuting 62miles a day must have been some hard work shows he was really dedicated.
