...if you think you're alone now?

    (sorry)

    +1 Buggles

@biondino: I have T'Pau's "Island" (from Rage) on repeat now. I don't understand why they never released it, it's such an anthem. Whigfield: "Think of you". Just checking Wikipedia, I'm going to have to track down those later remixes and re-releases as well :)

Toto's Africa is a karaoke powerhouse.

This is what we want - more please.

    Angel is a centrefold?

Classic and NOT a guilty pleasure surely?

  • Dolly certainly rocks and has been a key motivator on many a long hill. And as apparently Johnny Cash doesn't count as a guilty pleasure, where do we stand on the Dixie Chicks?

Obviously am no valid judge as Boney M still make me smile... (and umn, no, there were no ironic afro wigs/platform shoes worn... I blame it on my foolish backpacking youth).
  • Men without hats - Safety Dance, especially with that little dwarf jester chap in the video.

Or is this a proper classic? TBH I'm torn.

My position of the existence of 'guilty pleasures' is documented. I'm just naming bangin' choons that'll keep the microphone-wielding set happy until the wee hours.

No way! Proper Bone fide classic. One of the most influential alblums of the 80s for the percussion alone...

I have around 2000 vinyl records:-

    The highlights are:

Prosit! - A record of German drinking songs
Street songs of Glasgow - The cover has a burned out bus pictured on it.
Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band picture disks - Including California Nights
Grand Funk Railroad live in 1969
    The 3 degress - I have 3 albums
I have every Bow Wow Wow disk released including all the covers for Jungle Jungle...

    The all time favourite:

On the beach by Neil Young - superb!
  • Foreigner - I want to know what love is....

Big Country: In a Big Country.

Perhaps never again in music of any form will we see a song of such outstanding quality matched with such an appalling bad video.
    FCN 2-4.

"What happens when the hammer goes down, kids?"
    "It stays down, Daddy."
    "Exactly."

Awesome. Absolutely out of the top drawer of the chest of drawers containing the best ever songs of all time.

That, and REO Speedwagon's "Keep on Lovin' You".
