    Yes, it is a very good price, unbeatable really, except for a Planet-X at £999 (Dura Ace shifters and mechs, not full DA, but then the boardman probably isn't either). Ribble's Nero Corsa is carbon/ultegra for £999 though I failed to buy one from them due to poor customer service.

    I think Boardman bike has skimped on front chainset (£88 not £155 Duraace) and Brakes ( £115 Tektro artial carbon, DuraAce £180)

    hi guys, just been reading ur notes on baordman comp.

    is this bike ideal for london to paris and other long rides.

    I've been looking at the allez 18. what does one prefer.
