    Which is also not quite correct. They fully submitted to blood and urine tests and were renderd clean.

    The club wanted to take hair. They refused. It appears they were advised that they didn't have to, particularly since it was off season. It seems clear this was only about recreational drugs. But that charge, of taking then, was NOT proceeded with.

    Incidentally, hair tests on two of the players (subsequent to the refusal) confirmed no drug use.

    I'm fairly sure with swimming it is the suits, I still think there is a lot of doping, but I'm fairly sure that like all top level sports, doping will have been an issue for ages and therefore the massive improvements will have been due to the suits rather than some new doping method.
