Now that winter is here for sure, I have been looking at getting myself a pair of rollers with Alloy Drums and have decided on a set of Kreitlers. This is to vary my indoor training sessions as I also have a turbo trainer that gets used extensively.

They seem to get rave reviews everywhere. Only problem is I can't seem to find anyone who sells them over here in the UK but am sure they are sold as I saw a few pairs being used when I was up at the recent cycle show in London.

I would be grateful to anyone who could point me in the right direction of a local dealer.

Below is a link of the ones I am considering:

Thanks in advance

Kreitler rollers are being imported by Nemesis Active - at they bike show their rep told me thet were still looking for dealers. Suggest you contact Nemesis for an update as the dealer link on their site isn't working yet.

ClintC - how did you get on? I've also read the great reviews of Kreitler and was keen to upgrade. what I would really like to see is a comparison of rollers and to find out who makes the quietest ones.

Popette, you should find some of what you're looking for in the Fixed Gear Fever Roller Test! 8) You have to remember that this is a USA based site so some of these rollers aren't available in the UK and it doesn't cover the popular models sold here.

I bought E-Motion rollers a few months ago - they really are very much quieter then my Tacx rollers and resistance unit setup.

Eddy, how much did you pay for the E-Motion rollers, and who did you get them through? I was really tempted by them but the prices of almost £800 put me off rather quickly.

Popette, as to how I got on, I called them and was given a few different dealers names to call, see below, but was advised that most of the models would only be available in two weeks timeas they are currently waiting on a big shipment:

    Clint,

At the time I bought my E-Motion rollers, I paid £630 or £645. I got them from the UK importer. The price has gone up a lot in the last few months.

Who are the UK importers if I may ask?

Sounds like I need to wait for the exchange rate to go the other way again before even considering these....lol

Sorry Clint, I thought that you'd already seen the Inside Ride UK website - the importer is Classic Bikes and the website is here.
