Needed 1 more layer last night. Brrr. For the first time on the commute summer shorts and legwarmers weren't enough. This morning saw a layer of roubaix fleecy goodness make everything toasty :)

There was ice on the puddles this morning, not sure exactly how cold but enough for me to add a layer and go with 3/4 roubaix bibs, lightweight wicking t-shirt, long sleeve cannondale slice plus a montane featherwieght top over it. Needed the stretch overshoes and gavia gloves too.
Short hairy legged roadie FCN 4 or 5 in my baggies.

    Cornwall - 5 degrees.

Wicking long sleeved top (Finisterre), Altura Night Vision jacket and gloves, proper shorts (Endura Singletracks) and the usual shoes ans socks.

Chilly knees but otherwise fine. 3/4 length shorts on my Xmas list to keep my knees warmer!
  • About 0 degrees here this morning.

Still wearing shorts, an Orca winter jacket, a flourescent gillet and a pair of cheap gloves.

    extra layers = for wusses!!

    Now the hard work starts.
  • I had bib tights and a long-sleeved jersey and gloves (and shoes and socks).

When I'm in long sleeves you know it's cold! :D

I even have a jacket in case it rains this evening...

I wore a wicking long sleeve base layer + merino wool jumper and hi-viz jacket today but after about 90 mins I was soaked to the bone and beginning to get pretty cold by 2hrs in I was seriously considering taking the base layer off.

    What did I do wrong?
