Lack of motivation!

Glad to see some of the seasoned vets struggle to get themselves out in the rubbish months.
I only got back into the bike thing a couple of months ago, but then the nights and weather closed in and I discovered that the cheap Halfords lights I had sitting in a drawer had all the luminosity of a terminally ill firefly.
I've learnt nowt in the short time I've been riding again, so my lack of tallent isn't going to help me on any night time trail adventures.
Now I'm waiting for a cheap lock-block so I can bodge my recently purchased Tesco Cree onto my bars and trying to refind the motivation to go out when it's dark and cold. The fact I've recently bought an Xbox 360 doesn't help either!
Going to try and learn some of the local bridleways during the daylight at the weekend, then see if I can tackle them at night during the week.Less internal organs, same supertwisted great taste.0 -
That's the problem with night riding, everything looks so different, and it's so easy to get yourself turned around! I eventually put quite a decent route togather in my lokal woods, but since it's got dark i am constantly getting lost, and one bit i was wondering around for about 10 minuits trying to find the way :evil: slippery leaves all over the trail don't help either!supertwisted wrote:Glad to see some of the seasoned vets struggle to get themselves out in the rubbish months.

Right, i am off to see if the woods can possibly be any muddier than yesterday, after all that rain this morning i am going to guess YES
