Palatinose

I have just bought a 2 kg pack of this off myprotein.co.uk as an energy drink mix to fill my bottles for riding. I have tried lucozade sport and plain lucozade - the latter being so heavy on glucose it is unpalatable.

Has anybody else tried palatinose and any opinions/advice on its use??

    Well this post certainily sparked a lively debate!!!

    I did a ride today with about 50gm dissolved in bike bottle of tap water, and I was very impressed with the results - absolutely no 'spikes and crashes' like I have had with other drinks such as various lucozade varieties. I would recommend it personally, as you can buy it in bulk it also works out considerably more cost effective than pre mixed drinks/branded products.
