from reading various forums it seems that daily consumption of coffee damps the effect if you drink/consume coffee before/during an event..

Any thoughts personal expreiences?
I used to play Hockey but now I ride.... one day like the wind :)

  • Yes i would go along with that. A Dr told me to abstain from caffiene for 2 weeks prior to an event & it really works. Having coffee on race morning followed by gels w/caffiene throughout the race makes a noticable difference.
  • Caffeine is a well known and WADA legal ergogenic aid. It effects are definitely reduced if consumed regularly.
  • Damn I am getting serious about my training now and was hoping someone would leave me glimmer of hope that my daily Coffeecould remain. ... guess I can survive with my other vice :wink: aint gunna stop that.
