Cera - How much would it cost

PEDs have been kicking round amateur sports for many, many years.
Many years ago, one of the older members of the club I was in, told us he'd tried Amphetamines once, sometime in the 1950s, I believe.
He won the track race, then slept for a full 24 hours, no one could wake him up. Put him off for life.
One of the winners of junior National TTs years back, had very strangely dilated pupils, post race, speculation did occur about him.
Nothing much to win, except a few quid, a medal, an invite to the RTTC Dinner & your name in the handbook as the winner.
Worth doing? If he was on stuff, he obviously thought so.
Steroid abuse is rife in gyms, not just amongst dedicated body builders either.
The internet has made it easier to access PEDs and information about them. Their supply is making criminals quite rich and not just the likes of dodgy Doctors. The supply routes are the same, with some PEDs like steroids, as for narcotics & hallucinagenics, it's just the penalties if they're caught are lighter.
Kate Moss stuffing coke up her nose, Pete Docherty mainlining whatever doesn't exactly harm their carriers, so our juvenile dopers see role models virtually lauded for ingesting drugs that are far more harmful than some medicine that Grandad takes everytime he's dialysed.
Plus that, the potential rewards are now very great, should they make that step into the great world of professionalism.
It's likely that Ricco has been on EPO since his junior days, how many more are out there?Remember that you are an Englishman and thus have won first prize in the lottery of life.0 -
The Armstrong thread over there makes very interesting reading, some of the people talking obviously know what they are talking about, not in a 'he is/was taking' but about increasing power output for cyclists.
They all accept that Armstrong was 'jacked' as they don't believe that it is or was possible to achieve his power output clean.
The only debate is as to when he has started to cheat again so that his blood profile looks 'normal'
Bloody hell.Is it raining yet?0 -

This is on a website where people, who you haven't met or give a toss about you, tell you how to take powerful pharamaceutical agents in untested protocols...
