hello all
i have been toying with the idea of joining a cycling club for a while now and i wonder from forum experience what cycle club offers a friendly welcome to new lads who are clipless..but i wonder if others are interested in training together during the week(i work shifts).
i have limited time due to childcare commitments to train for my goal of a sportive in early 2009 but i ride mostly in the week if time allows....even think of riding at night...commute at weekends by bike
i am based near beckenham and bromley - mainly ride a hayes, becks loop with lots of lanes as distractions...anyone interesed on a serious basis..?
thanking you

Have you checked out Dulwich Paragon? Very relaxed and friendly with at least one regular midweek daytime ride and a number of evening rides.
