Turbo Trainer Maintenance

Hi all.
First post from me. Hope you can help
My turbo trainer has seen some heavy use recently and I am wondering how I might need to maintain it. It is a Sangiorio fluid trainer that I have had for a number of years but never had any instructions with it. I guess the fluid is oil, but how would I go about changing this? Do I need to?
Any help most appreciated.
