Tacx T1680 Flow Trainer

hi,

I'm considering buying a new turbo that will give me more data output - notably Power, and Speed - than my current model, a Minoura 850, which is bust now anyway.

I find that i can't really go on my heart rate, and I want to be able to accurately measure my effort levels, be able to test myself on it and hopefully see improvements.

Was thinking of the Tacx Flow, but i've heard some negative comments that it is not very robust. Any thoughts?

I had one and upgraded to a computrainer. It is certainly robust enough and the power measurement, whilst being a little generous (esp at higher cadences), is consistent and will help to feedback progress.

It was good value at the time I bought mine (couple of years ago) but not sure anymore?
