I am new to road cycling and have just invested in a new bike. Since the weather is so unpredictable in this country I have decided to get a turbo trainer for those dark wet winter evenings.
Can anyone recommend either CycleOps Mag Trainer or Minoura Ttraine MAG 500LR with remote?
Has anyone had any good or bad experiences with either?

I have the CycleOps Mag trainer, and have fitted the optional remote to it. To me it's a perfectly good trainer, albeit a little noisy when going full tilt, but that is the way with most mag trainers.0

i have just upgraded from a mag+ to a fluid2 but for the week i used it i found t to be a great entry level trainer. the remote shifter definately makes a differece but i would also reccommend a conti turbo tyre as well..
my mag+ is now for sale if you're interested - one week old and in the box. pm me if you're interested.
