Turbo Trainer Advice Please

I am looking to buy my first turbo trainer but there are so many to choose from that I don't seem able to reduce the options.
I would like a quiet running machine so I'm guessing a fluid type would be best?
Also, I would like to replicate some long tough climbs on it - the type where on the road you'd be typically at a gradient of 10% and out the saddle pushing away on the highest gears at a slow cadence.
From what I can gather the Cycleops Fluid 2 increases in resistance the faster you pedal which is fine for time trial type efforts but not for climbing as described above. Am I correct in this assumption.
Basically, what I'm looking for is a bit of advice from folks who have got trainers or who have had several.
I've been offered a second-hand 2008 cycleops fluid 2 for £90 but am not sure if it would suit me best.
Also, I don't really want to exceed £120 to £130.
Any opinions much appreciated.
Cheers,
Grant
