  • your start, the middle bit and the finish, in decreasing order of importance

Don't mean to be overly facetious but the question is unlikely to receive much sensible response here or on most forums you are posting to.

Partly because the kilo is such a highly specialised activity and something one has to dedicate their life to but mainly because one day you're asking how to train for climbing 2000m high mountains, now it's riding a kilo at the track? :?

The physiological demands and training required for each are at opposite ends of the spectrum.

It's probably fair to say cheating is probably something of a sore point on cycling forums...

When he's talking to himself in his own forum, not all the content seems to be original:

I suspect your enthusiasm is being misinterpreted.

And many would have a complete lack of understanding for how difficult it is for someone in a country like Indonesia to train and have access to resources that know about this stuff. No clubs, poor roads, lots of traffic, limited competition, no coaches, limited technical resources, no training buddies etc.

As far as training for the kilo - I suggest to just go and do it and enjoy. Learn from the experiences. Do some practice starts with someone holding you up. Other than that, it's basically go as hard as you can and hope to heck it finishes soon.

If you were really wanting to train for it specifically, then that would requires many many months and years of dedicated training. It is a very special event that demands a unique type of athlete.

I'm not specially working at the kilo...just joining, because my team assign me to...

Well thank you very much for the information...have you got my message ?

Thank you very much for your understanding Alex...
As you have ever visited Indonesia....
It's difficult becoming Pro here....many aspects as you said it's very right
It's just my dream becoming Pro, eventhough I've ever wanted to be....
Ok I'm gonna sprint as fast as I can I've ever got 1:27 few years a go...with a road bike and no alloy or carbon attached it's all cro mo li...just an old bike...
May be I can improve my time about say 10 s ? :)
I'm not a pro tour athlete anyway, what do I get to lose ?
Many times, I ride alone...no trainer and no body...just me, my bike and the road and of course my Lord is with me me always :)

Keep in touch and best regards Alex...
