Unusually high MHR

I check my MHR in the recommended way one or twice per season and it is 172 approx. Although I do not race according to my HRM I refer to it frequently in TT's. I usually ride 159-163 BPM for a 10 TT and 157-161 for a 25 TT. However in an evening 10 on a very warm night my BPM was 167-170 with 171 MHR and it did not feel too hard but I was reluctant to push it harder. In a subsequent TT in more normal temperatures my BPM was at its usual levels. Does this indicate that my MHR is really much higher than my previous estimate?

It indicates that you shouldn't worry about your heart rate when riding TTs.0
