60 Minutes of Exercise - What's the Best?

I would appreciate some advice
I can only manage to do about 60 minutes of exercise about 4 days a week. At the moment I'm alternating between road biking on a road bike, a mixture of road/off road on a mountain bike, and fairly fast walking. If I do 60 minutes of road biking I might cover something like 18 miles. If I do 60 minutes on my mountain bike - mixture of road and off road I might do 10 miles, and if I walk I'll do about 4 miles.
There may not be an answer to this question but what I would like to know is which form of exercise from the above is going to improve my fitness the most?

the mtbing because it'll work your core muscles more, and the bike weighs more. Assuming you're putting in the same effort.0

If you mixed up the sessions on the road bike: interval sessions; tempo rides; time trail pace; recovery rides etc on the road bike in the hour session then you'd get a very good work out.0
