Turbo Resistance

Hello,

Just a quick one, I am thinking about getting a new Turbo as at the moment I have a old Elite one and want one with a resistance setting. Question is what type of setting do I need to be putting it on? Did my first TT and did a 27.05 which i was dissapointed in and really want to improve and wonder if having a turbo with resistance will help?

Doing training efforts on a turbo will improve your TT performances................provided you do the correct type of efforts.

A turbo with variable resistance is probably more easy to adapt to the level of effort you are wishing to achieve, but you can also vary the resistance by using bigger gears for example.

Have a look at this thread for more guidance on training for TTs:
