Well, Miller came in with a great time 1:05:27. Unfortunately for him, just 1 minute later, Cancellara destroyed that with 1:04:11. Great ride by Fabian!

OK, what's up with Chavanel ? The guy's riding the TT of his life here. He could still crack as he's not finished but still, top 5 at checkpoint 2.

Great time by Sylvain Chavanel but he did fade a bit. He's in with 1:07:00.

    Not good for Sastre:
Cyclingnews' Gregor Brown caught up with Garmin's Danny Pate after his run today. "It is good be to be done today, even when you are good with time trials it is still never easy," he said. As to the conditions, "There is a lot of headwind out there and chip seal, so you have to look for the sweet spot in the road. It is an hour time trial, it did not have a lot of hills but it is hard after 20 days of racing.

"I could see a lot of flags blowing hard. from 15 to five kilometres to go it is brutal. There are false flats with chip seal, which makes it a grind."

    15:14 CEST
"It is nice to go early then you can be the 'temporary leader''," Pate continued. "I think think the fastest time will be three minutes better than mine -- maybe less.

"It is a power TT course, not like the first TT. This one is for the guys that usually do good at TT's."

It was nice of Cancellara to give Evans a good guideline schedule to work to.

Good ride by Hancapie! 1:06:18 for 4th place so far. That'll probably be 8th by the end of the day.

Oops, Bernie Kohl crashes before he even gets on the start ramp. Let's hope he doesn't do a Rasmussen

Woah, Vande Velde is riding at about 42-43 mph! (They showed the speedometer on the motorbike following him and it was just under 70 kph)

Holy crap! Scumacher went from 11 seconds DOWN at the last check to 14 seconds up!

That means he rode the last time check (11.5 KM) at 51.62 kph!!

Eurosport have an interesting picture-in-picture thing between Evans and Kohl... apparently they're level-pegging  Only about 10km gone, mind.

I think Kohl will do well but he's probably going to fade. He might be a bit hopped up and came out too fast.

Menchov needs 2:39 on Sastre. That equates to 50 odd secs at chech 1. But he was only 24 secs up. A lot to ask over the next 35k...

Vande Velde must be super tired. He's not riding as fast as many had hoped.

Frank Schleck is cooked. He's hemorrhaging time!

Vande Velde's getting better. Still not good enough for podium spot but he could end up in 2nd on this TT by the end.

Damn, they keep giving the wrong times! Nope, Vande Velde's not getting better. He's the same: 4th at 1st check, 4th at 2nd check. And he's down by 57 seconds now.
