Mine started doing this tonight after a couple of very mild stacks/crashs.
I took the alan cap out of the pedal, then remvoed the 10mm bolt, and greased up the bushing on the inside, all ok again.0 -

Yeah I have that problem, "Hmm what's that crunch grinding noise coming from my bike.... oh just my knees and ankles geting vocal."
My V8s clicked a bit at first but loose bearings are easy to pack with grease, I have known in other things that you do sometimes get new sealed bearning that are really rough, bad quality control is all-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_

Why are MTB economics; spend twice as much as you intended, but only half as much as you wish you could afford? :roll:0 -

if you have checked everything else put some grease in them.
If you cant be bothered with stripping them look in the FAQs."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

I've some old V8s that still fine, think they're clocking on ten years old..0

I got my DMRs in the natural alloy colour, no paint, no chip. They look a little bland on a white bike, but they're faultless
As for weight saving, every time I screw up the DMR studs will shave 1 to 5 grams of flesh off my lower legs.... result.. not..
The best pedals I've ever had for my money have to be the Kona JackSh¡t pedals..0 -
got some dmr V8's on my old Trek 4300 in khaki, quite a nice colour option. Never ever had a single problem and they've been abused and never received any kind of service in the something like 4 years Ive had them, missing a bit of the paint and thats it.0
