West Lothian "steady" ride

Is anyone out there keen to get a regular steady ride going in the West Lothian region? Correct me if I am wrong but there is a gap in the clubs around here. The option seems to be either race training or packing the panniers for an all day ride. Don't get me wrong, both are great but are not my cup of tea. I am happy to chain gang once a week but my interest lies in training for sportives (and a general love of road cycling). Would like to form a ride incorporating hills and a steady pace of say 14 - 17 mph (avg), with a different route each week.

Any takers?

Have a look in the Road rides and Sortives section. There's a thread called West Lothian roadies. Send a PM to OS65 and he'll tell you all you need to know but, in general it's 8am on Saturdays at the Korean War Monument for a steady road ride and there's a chaingang on Thursday nights.
