what does cycling leg muscle weigh?

I'm just curious.
I know that muscle is denser than fat, but I wonder how much weight is added to someone's total weight by having fairly well-developed leg muscles as opposed to not. So if someone who did little physical exercise became a keen club cyclist and retained the same amount of fat (unlikely I know), how much weight would they gain from the extra muscle? Obviously it's going to vary, but I'm thinking of the average keen cyclist, not someone like Tom Boonen with balloons for thighs.

Well I have stopped cycling for the past ten weeks because of a broken hip and I have lost around 3kgs and dont think I have put any fat on.Mañana0

Bad luck with the broken hip - hope you're on the road to full recovery.
That fits with what I was guessing though, assuming that 10 weeks is long enough to lose all of your "cycling muscle" . I've lost some fat during the past year and am down to the jeans size I wore when I was younger. I still weight about 1/2 a stone more than I did when I was that age though (when I didn't do much exercise).0
