  • I've had the phone call to say it was an error. Got a refund on the way.

    Not had a call yet.

    Strange one this, as I spoke to a guy at Evans on Tuesday evening - as I received said 'zipp ties' that day. He said I had been sent the wrong item and they would send the correct 'sensor'.

    I consider that I should receive the goods that I ordered at the price advertised.

    I have to say, I did order other items off the back of this bargain - items that I would normally have used my LBS for.

    any other news on this?

    I had forgotten about it to be honest until I was checking my bank account online this morning and thought "whats this £10.50 for evans??"

    Obviously they have taken the money but i've not received anything yet - not even the phone call to explain the error if it was one.
    Have email them to their 'orders' mailbox.

    I had my bank account credited on Tuesday.

    I phoned as I had been told they would send a replacement.

    Answer I got was - 'Sorry but we do not have stock and have no indication as to when we will from the supplier. The item was put up in error & we can only apologise'

    They then agreed to refund my return postage. When I got home yesterday I had a credit note, with refund of sale item - reason 'sorry now out of stock'.

    Bit annoying, but I can see they did make an error & I didn't lose anything.
