Chafing down under

Seem to be having a problem with this on longer rides no matter what combination of shorts and saddle I try. I have used both vaseline and sudocreme to try and ward it off but to no avail as they are absorbed into the skin or the shorts very quickly. Is there anything else that anyone would recommend?

can women use these creams too? Do they sting if they get onto the really sensitive bits? :shock:0

A friend of mine advises against ladies using Assos cream. But you never know, some people might like it!Le Blaireau (1)0

I generally use sudocrem &/or assos - but if a little extra is needed I found a tube of 'ederma' at a pharmacy. It's pricey, but used sparingly lasts forever, it has a thick consistancy & is used for nappy rash situations.0

My wife tried, but did not really like the warm glow of assos on her bits. I am not sure whether it would do any harm, but she was less than impressed.0
