Agree with you Harveytile - they are well designed, light and do a great snug job

    750ml bottles?

    no ones that thirsty!
750ml isn't a lot... On longer rides, I take a 750ml bottle with just water, and a 500ml bottle with water/energy powder stuff. I fill them up when I can find a tap too.

How long do you ride for?

On a foot note to this WATCH OUT

Nearly came a cropper the other day due to a loose bottle cage containing water bottle starting to swing on a descent throwing the bike out of kilter, aggghhhh

Two 750ml bottles is 3 hours supply if you are riding reasonably hard on a long ride, a sportive for example.
    So, no it's not excessive!

What's the big deal? I take one 950ml bottle on all my rides. I'll drink two of them on a hot 3 hour ride.

    Oh FFS

"carbon, carbon carbon", get something reliable and if weight is your concern, go for an extra big pooh before your ride!!

Incidentally, did an 85 mile ride the other day, drank 4 1/2 litres of fluid, then again I was in Mallorca and it was 35 degrees celcius.
    "Impressive break"

    "Thanks...
