Anyway, back on topic - Rapha's returns policy is very good so order one and if you don't like it you can return it and get your money back. I've done this with them before and had no problems whatsoever. Go on, you know you want to.

    Done.

Got some of the Touring Shorts while I was at it.

    Damn their stylish products.

That's what I was wondeirng too! Then I thought, "70 quid for a pair of shorts!? No way I'd be risking them on a bike ride!"

Pffft, you're not a real cyclist til you've had your expensive jersey cut off you in an ambulance. And had your backside hanging out of the place your shorts used to be while in A&E.

Told her who must be obeyed I'd ordered the mussete and he was not pleased because it was on the future gift list. Sigh, cannae win.

Have you told her that Rapha's marketing ploy is to only do short runs of stock and once they've sold out that's it? You've saved her a) the bother and b) the additional cost of buying one off ebay in 3 months time.

For those that are interested - the EPO spectogram t-shirt is now available on the Rapha site.

They could have bloody ironed them!

BTW, this is what the EPO spectrogram actually looks like

    epo_doping_test_ief.png

LHS is endogenous EPO, upper RHS is rhEPO, lower RHS is Aranesp mmm'kay?.

Not as fancy as the Rapha design, which is apparently to be the calibration standard used by ASO for this years Tour.

  • If I buy a Rapha EPO t-shirt and wear it with a Livestrong band does that make me ironic or hypocritical?

I'm currently sitting here in one of them trendy pubs in London frequented by fixie riders wearing my 3/4 trousers/shorts whilst ordering said item via my PDA/Blackberry/Iphone and drinking my pint of real beer (but secretly wishing I could just have an appletini instead).
I think I should record my thoughts for the day in my Rapha diary......

In that case I think your sartorial elegance may be required over in "Road Gear & Know How" for the "Shimano on Colnagos - Is it fair?" thread. Don't forget your man-bag.......

Nice one, LangerDan. I know a bloke who can make rh-EPO so it looks like the natural stuff...

Any idea when the T-shirt is coming on the market?

What puts me off buying the EPO shirt is the little rapha logo on it.

Outstanding. I think I'm going to get the latest issue of Rouleur as well. I'm a sucker for anything Alpe d'Huez.

How long did your stuff take to arrive?

Next day or day after that usually.

It's a slippery slope, you order a bag next...
