Yeah... who on earth likes that? TBH I find Formula 1's popularity absolutely mind-boggling, but this is even worse.

Seeing guys climbing the Mortirolo is bringing flashbacks. The top of that thing is ridiculous. If you can, go climb it. It's a life-changing experience.

Besides, the Stelvio, Marmolada, Giau and Gavia are not too far. Nice little vacation that was.

    Ricco is looking antsy.

Thought so. When you said ageing drivers I immediately thought of Menu, Rydell and Tarquini! :D

WTCC is brilliant btw, though possibly not as brilliant as the Giro.

Poor QS guy at the back there seems to have the whole peloton's wet weather gear stuffed in his back pocket.

Is Tarquini the guy with no legs? Because even though I don't like motorsport, that deserves respect.

Nope that's Alex Zanardi (who's also competing in the WTCC).

Just enjoyed Harmon's muppet impression as he went 'Allez, Allez' in a rather strangulated voice

Ah, I knew I was in the right area.

Di Luca is not looking great here. Went too hard yesterday?

Edit: And he cracks as I hit submit!

Ricco is covering Simoni's every move. There go the alliance rumours...

OK, is it just me who finds Sella really annoying? He's like a kid with ADHD who can't keep still for a second. I bet it's not blood transfusions he's having before a mountain stage, it's two litres of Sunny Delight.

WTF? ES2 goes live to the cycling after everyone crosses the Mortirolo GPM and goes to adverts after TEN SECONDS. Literally, 10 seconds of cycling.

Oh, I've been watching on the cyclingfans NRK feed, but that's not the point.

Where's Karpets just appeared from? I don't think I've seen his name mentioned since Palermo, are we sure he has actual ridden the whole route!

Ricco is playing it beaten. As much as he talks brashly, he rides way too cautiously, with great insecurity. Looks good for Contador now.

Was Simoni's DS hanging out of the car window, smoking?

In tomorrow's TT I hope contador properly humiliates the sick ego at 4 seconds with an early capture and drops him...anyone who's as bad as a loser as that one at 4 seconds will stop at nothing IMO to try to win

Do the Italians gang up to "do over" a podium contender? Yes
Do the Italians fail to recognise the one they want is in pink,
    not orange? No.

Poor old Dennis the Menace. What did he do to rattle their cages?
They give Sella the time to overtake him, take a packet from the killer, but leave Rodriguez just 8 seconds up the road and Ricco finishes 4th!

The Tifosi might love him, but his fellow pros must hate him even more than some posters, here!
