Hi,
Can anyone recommend any websites or resources that will help me understand how to use power trainers such as the Polar CS600.
Thanks,
Dave

There are several but these two are an excellent place to start:
http://www.cyclingpeakssoftware.com/power411/
http://www.trainwithpower.net/
The train with power site has lots of reference material and links to good resources.
Also recommend visiting/searching and asking questions on some forums dedicated to the overall issue of training and racing with power:
http://www.cyclingforums.com/f88-power-training.html
http://groups.google.com/group/wattage/topics
the latter forum you need to be a member of google groups but that's no big deal.
I've written the odd thing or two about it myself....
here's a summary:

A book titled "Training and Racing with a Power Meter" by Allen and Coggan - available via Amazon and others is a good resource.
It hasn't persuaded me to buy one yet but this is more to do with the cost than anything else.
The Polar though cheaper seems more prone to error from what i can ascertain - and it's not that cheap!0 -
Thanks for the links and book recommendations - very helpful.
