It would be cool to see Contador riding with his broken elbow and how he is handling the bike

Gibo's a decent tester given a hill. Levi isn't going for this race.

SIMONI!! Holy crap, where the heck did that come from? He must have worked REALLY hard on TT this past off-season. Wow. Only .28 seconds off Levi's time.

Given his broken elbow, Contador's been doing pretty well.

Ricco's getting his butt kicked though.

Gibo was up there on the flat section!

With that 30km TT into Milan I'm keeping my fingers crossed for Bruseghin as my PTP GC pick!

Anyone read Velonews? Yesterday they had an article that Contador was out of the race and wouldn't even finish the Giro. Things looking a bit different today...

Wow, I thought Simoni's ride was the biggest surprise but Contador beating Kloden?! Who the heck expected that?

    I'd say the surprises:

    1. Contador
    2. Simoni
    3. Menchov

I think Ricco just jumped 1 second in front of DiLuca.

Bruseghin set his fastest time in the dry. Imagine what the result would have been if all riders had same conditions

True and a definite advantage but the others did have his times on their radios to ride against so that's an advantage too.

Not a bad ride from Visconti - 12th.

If Bertie is doing this now with a busted elbow, its looking pretty sweet for him overall.

Until the others decide to learn from last year's Giro and give a gentle prod in the offending arm....
