Training for cycle through Wales

I am doing a cycle ride for charity with a group from work that entails approx 170 miles over 2 days following the Offa's Dyke path as closely as possible, on road from south Wales to north. We will be doing this in September. Can anyone advise on the best training for this.
I have a touring bike with a triple chainset so am really looking for advice on what I should physically do to prepare for this. I live in Bedfordshire so don't have any serious hills close by. I currently go out cycling at weekends doing 20 - 30 miles but would find weekdays difficult to train due to other commitments.

Just get as many miles in as possible. Speed is not an issue for you I think, just need to build endurance.
You certainly need to build on doing 30 mile rides to the point where 2 days of 80+ hilly miles are not going to be a shock to the system. That would include doing some shorter faster rides midweek if at all possible (is early morning out of the question for you?).
Get yourself over to the Chilterns if you want local hills.
Maybe worth going out on some club runs with a local club to meet similarly minded individuals to help motivate you to train.
Best of luck with it0
