lower back ache stretches

Hi all,
I find that I get an ache in the lower back (slightly to the right) after being in the saddle for a while -- especially if there is climbing involved.
Does anyone know any good stretches to deal with it while on the bike? I haven't stumbled on anything adequate yet.
Thanks

Maybe you should try doing lower back stretches when you are not riding. Whenever
you have a free moment of two.

Try some glute stretches:

Small pelvis to back muscles can be stretched by lying on back, bringing knees up as far as poss and hugging them or (on back with feet still, on floor) lifting lower end of peviis upwards a few inches - don't help with feet/legs. Difficult to describe tho'0

Also be aware of what you're doing when you're not riding. Some of the following can ad to or result in lower back pain: sitting slouched on chair, not bending your knees when picking up heavy items etc .On the bike you might try raising your bars up a bit to relieve the problem or better yet get your bike position checked out by a proffessional.0
