Check out the finish, and the podium video...

A comedy of errors all round

That video of the podium is hysterical!

Shame the camera man didn't go in close to get Cavendish's red face>

PMSL... I stopped watching before they got to the podium, but that is funny. The guy is like a Chuckle Brother on wheels :D He is good though!

And a good post-race interview from him, far more coherent than his post G-W rant, so obviously the answer is only to interview him when he's won :D

I keep thinking Cav is morphing into some kind of Manx Ricco.
Fckin' Quintana … that creep can roll, man.

Except that unlike Ricco Cav has actually won a few things..

Oooof. I'd argue that while Cav has quite a few victories, Ricco has the more impressive set of victories. Stages in Tirreno-Adriatico, a brutal Giro stage and 2nd in Lombardy.

Cav's got the dodgy sunglasses, he just needs a dodgy suit now!

  • I quite liked the suit & sunglasses Ricco had on in Procycling. Just wish I was cool enough to carry them off.

Maybe come the Giro Cav & Ricco will manage to upset each other, could be very entertaining if they do :D

lol ... I cant stop watching that Podium clip - makes me laugh every time.. quality stuff.. Loved the way he stole the race by a couple of CM - Boonen must feel like a right tit

Damn multilingual McEwen. I want to hear what today's excuse is... but it's in Flemish.

McEwen said that he used to much energy in the last 600m to get on the wheel of Boonen, then it was all blocked out and he knew then his best potential result was a podium...
Then he went on to say that Wouter Weylandts didn't protect Boonen enough against potential counterattacks and that he could see Cavendish coming....

The TV news here showed more of Cavendish slipping on his ass then Boonens sporting blooper. Boonen didn't look the youthful guy in the interviews afterwards (baldy head too :))
