5 Quickstep riders on the front including Devolder, Hulsmans and Boonen - looks like they've got their bases covered.
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..

Darn! Pozzato is making it back. I quite enjoyed watching him suffer out back.

I think we have a solid selection and Hincapie is nowhere near it. And is that Maaskant for Slipstream? Too small to be Magnus.

Magnus is Swedish nat champ, so won't be wearing the normal slipstream kit.

    Duh! of course, you're right.

Devolder is off at Mons-en-Pévelle! He's going incredibly this year. Or is it the voices in his ear that steer him better?
  • Looks like O'Grady is trying to catch Devolder

    O'Grady! we've got ourselves a race!

with Cancellara and Boonen able to lounge out back, we could have one hell of a finish.

Can't see the likes of Hoste, Ballan and Cancellara waiting for a sprint finish with Boonen in the group - expect a big attack at Carrefour de L'abre - the last really tough and long sector - Sector 5 I think?
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..
  • I see Hoste's back to his whinging again

well, looks like the top three's settled. I expect Cancellara to try and go solo before the velodrome.

So much for my theory - Boonen, Ballan and Cancellara have cleared off down the road - if there were 'heads of state' in this race, these guys would be it - there's still going to have to lose Boonen by the velodrome though.
