Riders in the Ashbourne Area

Hi,

I am looking for some riders in the Ashbourne (derbyshire) area to train / ride with over the next few weeks to catch up / speed up for some sportives later this year, assuming it stops snowing and hail stoning in the near future!

Hi, i live in Mickleover, which isn't too far from Ashbourne.

How much later this year?

I can't really cycle much for a couple of months (exams etc take priority)

But any time between end of June - sometime in September, i should be able to ride with you if you give me a pm. Maybe join a club?

Hi, I also have exams and then an intership during the summer, but fancied getting back into cycling. I went out with Matlock a few tims last year, but its a bit of a pain to drive across, and I struggled getting there ontime when i was working. Anyway, sounds good, I'll shoot you a pm.

What sorts of speed are you looking at - if you don't mind riding out 10 miles Derby Merc have a few different rides including a fairly steady (if you are fit - challenging if you aren't) Saturday morning one that some of the members arrange through the forum on the club website.

Thanks for that Tom, i'll have a look on the website and arrange something for this Saturday, though i might get dropped...... not fir the first time.....

The guy that normally posts to go out on Saturday - Dave - has been on holiday - not sure if he's back but if you post asking if anyone is going out on Saturday no doubt he'll respond if he is around.
