I was hoping somebody might be able to help me. I have been cycling for about 3-4yrs Really got into after doing a few tris.
I seem to have a set up problem with my bike. The problem which is occuring is that all my cycling shorts are being damaged on the top of my left inside thigh. In terms of damaged they seem to be ruffed up and pulled! like i scrubbed sandpaper on them! It looks like they are really rubbing against my seat. I have switched seats...but it still happens. All shorts are damaaged. Anybody else suffered this?
All advice welcome.
Thanks

Is your saddle aligned properly?
If it is (and it sounds likely), then you could just have an uneven position, which can either be fixed by a competent physiotherapist or just angling your saddle to compensate.Jeff Jones

I have had the same thing, it was the velcro of my saddle bag catching. All my bikes have small saddle/tool bags and if you trim the seat post strap so non of the velcro hooks are exposed the problem is solved.0

Does your saddle have stitching on it? I thought everyone experienced this to some extent.0
