Weather problem

hey...
I have been cycling for only one year so I don't really know what to do in similar situations as this one:
I got a very good training program and I have been doing it for one month now. I must say that I have already noticed my progress. But this week the weather is really bad. Due to rain and snow I can't continue to train like the program says. What should I do in this time of bad weather so i won't be losing to much of what I have gained in the past month?
Before I begun to ride a bike a had been running and I didn't have such problems...
Thanks for all the answers.

Speak to yourcoach. Find out which key sessiosn you 'must' do & do them.Get to a gym to borrow a bike if necessary. Make up for a bit of aerobic traing with a run or two - tho' if its a while since you last ran this could be agony. Don't risk health and life tho'0

If you've got an indoor trainer, ride it.
If you absolutely can't do any riding, then maybe do a few running sessions or just rest. A week off the bike won't set you back much at all.Jeff Jones

Why are you stopping for rain and snow??!0

because of the weather situation and weird shifts I work plus the fact I am going to need to start doing some recovery rides I decided to buy a set of training rollers this afternoon from chain reaction cycles..0

i plan my routine around a turbo, outdoor rides at this time of year are seen as a luxury.0

It's only rain, your skin is waterproof, get out there and ride It makes you appreciate the warm sunny days ( if we ever get any in the Uk )0

That's modern training methods for you Steve. Road - sheer luxury. You couldn't make it up.0 -
Gotta say its the wind that i don't like more than the rain. the only thing i don't like about riding in the rain is cleaning the bike afterwards. i've only not gone for a ride, specifically because of the weather conditions, once in the last 15 months. riding outside beats a turbo hands down - besides i get so hot riding indoors that i'd probably end up wetter than i would out in the rain :oops:pm0

I put my turbo trainer out on the lawn where it's a bit cooler. If indoors, use a fan to keep the sweat off and "Yes", I go Spinning Class where the company is a bit more...um...more...um...pleasant to look at. I'm allowed to look; she's given me permission you know!!
Most of the proper chaps get thier high powered lights and chain gang it, shedding riders and laughing as they go. No space for quitters there. Only the strong survive!!
**i have just retracted permission!!! from the other half“Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance you must keep moving”- Albert Einstein
