coach

Hi

I am really struggling with my bike fitness mainly due to an extreme lack of hours on the saddle and i wondered does anyone use these online coaching places that charge a monthly subscription if so are they worth it? i think if ii get a plan drawn up then i'll stick to it but i really have no idea how to do one myself so i was wondering whether i should use a coach to get guidance on training and eating plus a whole load of other stuff.

i'm thinking of this :- http://cyclecoach.com/pageID-training.htm

I'd recommend you talk to Ruth Eyles that posts on this forum (http://www.rutheyles.co.uk/), she's been coaching me for a while via Internet now and it's working out really well.

It's great to have someone look at my work/life schedule and build a progressive training plan around the time I have available - I can't see the wood for the trees myself

The thing to bear in mind though is that you still have to put the effort in - a coach can guide and help you make the most of the time you have to train, but it's still hard work that counts.
