How do Welshmen manage to train?

Sorry for the out of date question, I've had to take a few days off life due to a small victory, a few too many pints and a flu virus.

So the question, how are we (Welshmen) supposed to train properly at this time of year? One day of the weelend is spent watching and celebrating, the other spent recovering, how are we supposed to fit in the weekend ride?

  • No point Chris.... I slipped and damaged my foot on sunday so am off the bike for at least 10 days, worse still I'm doubtful for the annual pilgrimage to cardiff next saturday..... :(

Celebrating what? Did something happen at the weekend?

Training? What do we need that for? Surely we are so genetically superior to anything any other country can produce?

Rugby? You lot totally deserved to win - England played like a football team in the second half.

Training - get out before the game starts, no excuses.

As for the flu - if as REDDRAGGON states that you(the welsh) are so genetically superior, maybe the question you should be asking yourself is 'How Welsh am I???'

Remember - you never beat Wales. You just score more points than them....

Ah Ruth that's up there with my wife asking which colour is Wales in. My youngest daughter crying because her sister was having more go's than her when playing golf, and now my oldest daughtercomplaining that the 400m was unfair as she had to start at the back. :)

    Girls are great.

Try not to worry too much..............Welsh sporting sucess is right up there alongside rocking horse excrement and hens teeth in terms of rarity.

I very much doubt your training schedule will be affected again in the coming weeks. In fact, it will probably be years before you have to celebrate properly again!

C'mon then, Chris, since I might as well be living on Mars for all I follow sport on TV, I'll give you the great pleasure of telling me the score. What was it? (I'd better know it as it will have made my Great Uncle Arthur's year, seeing as he's fanatical about his Welsh roots. )

    That's TWENTY SIX - NINETEEN....!

3 out of the last 4 Six Nations we've beaten England, perhaps the tables are turning back in our favour?
