Well, got a load of bits waiting to go on the old girl as soon as half-term starts!
'Zocchi MX Pros (Measured and marked the steerer tube today. Double check tomorrow then cut!) and an FSA Pig headset.
LX cassette and cranks, sram PC48 chain, Truvativ XR bottom bracket and Wellgo V8 pedals, along with new gear cables. Also got a pair of Mavic Crossride UB wheels for off-road stuff, with IRC Mibro tyres. Keeping the knackered wheels with semi-slicks for the commute to college. Would be a lot of hassle but am tempted to switch the old forks back for college - its too close to Slough to leave anything nice around!
All in all, spent a ruddy fortune (for a penniless student!) on an old bike that really isn't worth it - a Giant Rincon! But anyways, gives me an excuse to get oily! (just hope that the mechs and shifters last for a year or so more until I've got cash for discs and new mechs!)
One fine day in the middle of the night, two dead men got up to fight. Back to back they faced each other, drew their swords and shot each other.0 -

Was going to sell them but decided against it so when all the other bikes are done I shall build this one up over the next couple of months...
Scrapped the pub bike.... but I may be getting a cannondale roadie through cycle2work0 -
