Detail question re doing a MAP test but know that some people from RST visit this forum so maybe they can reply.
When doing a MAP test what marks the end point? The description of the test says:
"...you should keep upping the power until you can no longer match the predetermined power output. At this point you should really 'dig in' giving a final effort to try to match the correct power."
What I find is that at close to max power its difficult to up the power gradually to match the target, but there is still a bit more in the tank. So right at the end should I forget the target and give it my all to get to and keep max power for as long as possible?

Yes. It's a test to failure. You'll know when it's over
I don't have a choice when I test about the power ramp as it's controlled by the computrainer and the friend hitting the +5W button every 12 seconds. I can either put out the power or I can't.0
