Mid week training rides in Cambridge

Hello all 
I am starting a new job in Cambridge and will be travelling Mon and Fri from Nottingham. I am after a midweek ride with a chain gang or something similar for the winter hopefully that goes out on a Wednesday evening.
I normally do around 1 1/2 hours and fairly hard with a few clinbs thrown in, and I average around 19 mph. With this in mind a real steady ride would'nt be what I'm after.
I have contacted Cambridge CC and they said there is'nt anything like that ! :roll:
The ride I do at the moment is'nt necessarily connected to a club, but has been going now for a couple of years and is really very benaficial.
I look forward to some replies and information.
