    Roastie toastie :-)

Assos Airblock Jacket and base layer ... fantastico.

30 miles this morning ... temperature was around 6 degrees .... luverly and warm :D

Only thing I did notice was that when I got home and took all the gear off, that the base layer was a LOT more damp (sweatier ... sorry) than normal. I guess this means that not so much of the moisture was getting to the outside?

However I only noticed this after I got home and I was warm the whole time which was the main point :D

With regard to the dribbles .... sniff a lot :D not much else you can do ...

    It's great to be .....

How do people stop the dribbles in this cold? I've been out a few times and have constantly been wiping my nose.

It was sooooo windy out today that the snot was dripping out and the wind was whipping it back onto my face - nice. I was on quiet country lanes so I just blew my nose out onto the road. Initially, I wouldn't have done this in a million years and actually swallowed a fly in the village rather than spit it out. I don't have any such reservations these days

    You don't.

You either get silver stripes on your gloves or you learn to blow it out one nostril at a time to the side.

Glad you like it PJH. Got mine out today for the first time this winter (yes, yes, OK, so I haven't been out much recently  ) and had to have a quick preen in front of the mirror before setting off - they do look the business as well as do the business!

I don't understand why you didn't start out properly dressed. If you even think it might be a bit cold out why wouldn't you wear toe warmers, gloves, arm warmers, a light shell,
etc. That kind of stuff. Most things like that you can remove if it gets too warm and stuff
in a rear pocket. You can always take things off but if you don't have them in the first place, well, you have never learned the first rule of the Boy Scouts - Be Prepared.
