So the thing we all agree on is that a speedo should NEVER read lower than the car is actually travelling. As all tolerances are 0 to +ve, we have no -ve tolerances being argued.0

Below 25mph a -ve tollerance is (in theory) allowed. Which raises an interesting question about how a motorist is supposed to navigate a 20mph speed limit with any degree of certainty over actual speed travelled!
Going very OT though *goes off to whip myself with a p*nct*red inner tube as a penetance*

OK, so now we’ve got that sorted.
Excluding the possibility of ‘42’, whats the meaning of ‘Life, the Universe and everything’?

OK, I heard back from the guys manager, who has informed me that the same guy had been reported for a similar offence a couple of weeks ago, and that his attitude generally has been very poor and that he had already been given his notice, with his last day of work being today!!! His manager came across very concerned about the matter and the image that it reflected on the company.........but, I'm taking the outcome with a very large pinch of salt!!!0

nice 1
i always laugh (kindof) when i see these stickers on vans/cars "hows my driving?"
well actually its pretty dire m8y :P
dire being a polite way of sayin "$"£%*(^£" :PGood Luck and Be Fecund0 -
Well this thread would actually suggest that ringing the number on the sticker is a good idea!
Nice to actually see someone doing it rather than the usual "I give him a load of verbal, punched his car/van, dragged him out and kicked him to death" (delete as appropriate) cockwaving we usually get.
Kudos to the OP, kudos to the company for taking it seriously and doing something about it.Cycle tracks will abound in Utopia. ~H.G. Wells

agree with that, but surely it's got to be really difficult to remeber the phone number and the car reg until you get a chance to write it down. I'm firly sure there would be very few circumstances where i'd get the oppurtunity!0 -
Well if something p****s you off enough to contemplate ringing, just remember the name of the company?
T'internet it or 118......sorted!Cycle tracks will abound in Utopia. ~H.G. Wells
